Craps Glossary
Any Seven - Betting that the next roll will be a 7.
Back Line - Synonym for the Don't Pass Line.
Betting Right - Betting on the Pass Line and Come bets.
Betting Wrong - Betting on the Don't Pass Line and Don't Come bets. It's often thought to be in poor taste to bet wrong.
Bones - Dice
Choppy Table - A table where the shooters are sevening out after only a few rolls. These tables are more difficult to play on.
Cold Table - A table where the shooters are sevening out on the come out roll.
Combination Names - Each possible combination has a name. See table below.

Come Bet - Like a Pass Line bet made after a point has been established. Betting the shooter hits the point.
Come Out Roll - The beginning roll when the puck is in the off position.
Craps - When a 2, a 3 or a 12 is rolled.
Double Odds - Bet that double the amount of the initial Pass Line bet. Double odds pay true odds when you win.
Edge - The advantage the casino has on the player on any given wager.
Event Money Bet - A bet that pays 1 to 1.
Front Line - Same as the Pass Line.
Hot Table - A good table where shooters are hitting the point often.
Lay Bet - Paying a 5% commission in order to get true odds on (4,5,6,8,9,10). You are betting against the Pass Line players. You are betting the 7 will be rolled before the point.
Line Bet - A bet placed on the Pass Line or Don't Pass Line.
Natural - When the come out roll results in either a 7 or an 11.
One Roll Bet - A bet placed on the outcome of the next roll.
Place Bet - A bet wagering that a place number will be rolled before the shooter sevens out.
Place Numbers - 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10.
Point Number - One of the numbers other than a 2, 3, 7, 11, or 12. Set on the come out roll.
Right Bettor - A player wagering that the shooter will roll the point.
Seven Out - When the shooter rolls a 7 on a roll after the come out roll. This ends the round.
Shooter - The player who rolls the dice.
Single Odds - Bet amount placed behind the line matching the bet on the Pass Line or Don’t Pass Line.
Snake Eyes - When a two is rolled. Each dice showing 1.
The Point - The number that is determined on the come-out roll. Only place numbers (4, 5, 6 ,8 ,9 ,10) can be the point.
Wrong Bettor - A player wagering the dice will not pass. A player who bets the shooter will seven out.
